Melanie Ravasingadi is a dedicated first-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Cape Town. Known for her strong work ethic, she approaches her studies with a passion for continuous improvement, believing there’s always room to grow and learn.

Beyond academics, Melanie has a deep love for sports. In high school, she played 1st Team hockey and took on leadership as the Vice Captain of the Cross-Country team. During her gap year, she returned to her alma mater, Arundel in Zimbabwe, to serve as a Junior Sports Mistress. It was here that her love for squash blossomed, adding to her impressive athletic repertoire. Melanie’s drive for excellence, both on and off the field, truly sets her apart.
